Miah is finally 6 months!! I introduced her to some Stage 1 foods to see if she was all interested outside of the breastmilk.
At around 6 months, your baby might be ready to be introduce to different combinations such as; meat puree, mashed beans, and fruit and vegetables puree.
Here’s why:
Variety adds nutrients to your babies diet. Meat purees and mashes beans have protein, zinc, and iron. Fruit and vegetables puree have fiber and a mix of important vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A (from beta-carotene) or vitamin C.
And also when you introduce different flavors, it can help babies accept new foods for in the future. NO PICKY EATERS!!- right? This can establish good eating habits.

TIPS:
Make sure that when you introduce new foods you do it once at a time. I would wait for about 3 days to start a different variety just in case something gives them complications. It’s easier to spot a problem.
Your baby might also not accept new foods right away but stay patient. It may take up to 10 times to get those frown to turn upside down.
**Remember that every baby is different so make sure to consult your doctor before introducing food.
